I handed in my Assignment yesterday, I was pretty nervous about getting it in on time but managed nicely, only forgot half my files and had to go home to get them again, but I managed :P
I meant to put up a message last night saying I'd finished but ended up going to look after my girlfriend who is a bit sick atm, it's ok though, I enjoyed looking after her, hope she gets better soon.
Had my first lecture back this semester today (other than the one I missed yesterday*cough cough*) and got told we had to work in teams for this next assignment. I was pretty pleased how it turned out though, I've ended up with 5 of the very best people in the class working with me, something we had semi planned for, and we make up the single biggest team ever to do this assignment hopefully all will work out well though.
We had our first meeting to discuss the team and our ideas, one of the first ideas I suggested was we share a blog together in the hope we can share information and ideas with each other that way, as well as it being a good way for our lecturer to keep up to date with us and a nice log of our work.
Nothing else to say really, I'm pretty tired... think I'll just watch some jonathan creek and sketch out some ideas for this new project of ours though, expect to see a link to the new team blog when I get around to making it.
Later days non existent readers :P

Assignment due tommorow.
I've been working with 3Ds max now for a little under 2 months (in a very erratic on and off way of course) and tommorow is the first deadline of my first assignment.
I'll be honest with you, even as a beginner I'm aware it's not my best work, my original concept was for a large floating island, with water falls and wildlife interjected with old and decrepid skyscrapers (think I am Legend) but sadly that file was corrupted.
The new concept was simply my room, created with a lot of detail.

The kitchen area.
I decided to make my 3d environment look almost washed out with whiteness after a last minute presentation showed that almost everyone on my course had gone for a very different approach, mostly consisting of very dingy dark areas that didn't appeal to me at all, and hell... I just have to be different ;).
I apologize to the non existent readers for the very broken form of English this entry has taken, I've been a little distracted by a very classic episode of Jonathan Creek ;P
